Subject: [ISSUE] RPATH set in qjackctl breaks pw-jack
Date: Mon, 28 Dec 2020 12:20:46 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <gh-mailinglist-notifications-41a7ca26-5023-4802-975b-f1789d68868e-void-packages-27494@inbox.vuxu.org> (raw)

New issue by st3r4g on void-packages repository
https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/issues/27494
Description:
<!-- Don't request update of package. We have a script for that. https://alpha.de.repo.voidlinux.org/void-updates/void-updates.txt . However, a quality pull request may help. -->
### System
* xuname:
Void 5.9.16_1 x86_64 AuthenticAMD notuptodate rFFFFFFFF
* package:
qjackctl-0.9.0_1
```
$ chrpath -l /usr/bin/qjackctl
/usr/bin/qjackctl: RPATH=/usr/lib
```
This overrides the effect of adding `/usr/lib/pipewire-0.3/jack` to `LD_LIBRARY_PATH` done by `pw-jack`, so `qjackctl` still links to the `libjack` in `/usr/lib`.
