Description:
avldrums is an lv2 plugin (popular plugin format for music production) featuring two midi instruments with drum samples. From what I can gather it is one of if not the best free and open source midi drum instrument available. 

It is made by the same team behind the [x42 plugins](https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/tree/master/srcpkgs/x42-plugins) that are already in the repository, but are separate because of the size of the SoundFonts for the drums (approximately 42MB).
