#### Testing the changes
- I tested the changes in this PR: **briefly**

Tested with sagemath (full doctest suite)

I also made sure one can `#include <mpc.h>` without including `stdio.h` as well, which is what the patch I removed was fixing so it's safe to drop (as a matter of fact fixing this is listed in upstream changelog, but I tested just in case).

@paper42 you added the patch so maybe you want to double check with whatever was giving you trouble before.
