I used OS X for a while and was quite happy with it. But then it seemd to just get worse (and slower!) with every new iteration and all the programs started to depend on the new OS versions. Thats where I jumped off and used linux fulltime. Now I'm running a very barebones setup. Login via the console, Xorg via startx and in it a tiny, tiling windowmananger called Xoat. I do most stuff like configuration or editing on the shell and it works great for me. But I know that kind of setup is not everyones cup of tea :) ------=_Part_5882_1145538029.1423036076404 Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
