Currently we use the latest LTS series (4.1) because this would break catalyst. But in void there's really no need to hurry while switching between series because the linuxX.X pkgs can be installed side-by-side with others. So that you can have all linuxX.X pkgs installed at the same time. Just set your desired version in grub.
