I want to connect my bluetooth earphones to my laptop so I followed the 
instructions given on the website. I installed bluez, enabled the required 
services and checked the rfkill. Still it is not working so the i  checked 
dmesg and I got the following error.

[ 5.121228] bluetooth hci0: Direct firmware load for 
qca/rampatch_usb_00000302.bin failed with error -2 
[ 5.121231] Bluetooth: hci0: failed to request rampatch file: 
qca/rampatch_usb_00000302.bin (-2) 
[ 81.840100] bluetooth hci0: Direct firmware load for 
qca/rampatch_usb_00000302.bin failed with error -2 
[ 81.840103] Bluetooth: hci0: failed to request rampatch file: 
qca/rampatch_usb_00000302.bin (-2)

I dont know how to fix this. I switched back to Arch Linux a while back 
because of this and I dont get this error there.

uname -r
5.0.9_1

Please tell me the solution.

# bluetoothctl 
Agent registered 
[bluetooth]# scan on 
No default controller available

The firmware file you are missing is in the linux-firmware package:

~ $ xlocate rampatch_usb_00000302.bin
linux-firmware-20181218_1 /usr/lib/firmware/qca/rampatch_usb_00000302.bin
linux-firmware-20181218_1 /usr/lib/firmware/qca/rampatch_usb_00000302.bin
