Ok, will give symlinking for runit a go...

Though, it doesn't quite explain why adding mdadm as a daemon to rc.conf is 
working for me, currently, per the wiki I just added:

However, if symlinking is the proper method, I'll give that a go later 
today, and update the wiki page, accordingly.
