Generating grub.cfg ...
Found background: /usr/share/void-artwork/splash.png

seen this during initual fresh install update. Is it something to worry 
about?

this is the output during grub  update where I seen it

There's nothing to worry about, that means that a file descriptor wasn't 
closed before calling execve().
