Hi,

i do not understand why the installer does not provide a getty on ttyS0.

Can somebody explain why this is the case?

Would some developer want to change that?

As far as i understand runit, the only thing which has to be done is to
copy the correct file into the correct directory.

A serial console for the installer would allow for installations via serial
console, which is sometimes the only. I want to start with void linux
but this makes it impossible for me right now.

BR
