        The libtext Make.solaris defines -DOSF1 instead of -DSOLARIS. This is
        wily 0.2.

Just one of the bludners caused by the ugly n-Makefiles/directory system 
inherited
>from the sam distribution.  I've pretty much finished it such that all the
source directories have one small Makefile, and include stuff from the parent
directory (some rules, system specific stuff), and you can just 'make' in
the top directory and it will work.

This (and some hpux and linux patches from Bjorn Helgaas <helgaas@convex.com>)
will be going out soon as 0.2.1

It will do until Bill works out autoconf :-/
