Subject: Can't add search domain in Wireguard Android App
Date: Sat, 25 Sep 2021 19:43:32 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <CAKFP4-gORakAyi7A+f2uMwRiE5LT5Ui7rBgZedqoBPcV6Q0M0Q@mail.gmail.com> (raw)
Hello,
I'm not sure if this has been posted before, but I am unable to add a
custom search domain to the "DNS servers" field of the Wireguard
Android app. The app responds "Cannot parse IP address "<my local
domain>" in Interface's DNS." Is there an alternative way to do this
on Android, or will this feature be added in a future update? Or is
simply a result of running wireguard as non-root, and so this is
impossible on an Android phone?
Thanks,
Alexis
