Most of these changes should be transparent, but there have been some user-visible changes. 1) alias has new option -L 2) syntax change for builtin hash. `hash foo bar' is now written `hash foo=bar' 3) hash now has -m option. So you can now see all named directories matching a pattern with `hash -dm 'pat' 4) you can remove a particular named directory with `unhash -d foo' or all named directories matching a pattern with `unhash -dm pat' 5) you can now disable/enable shell functions, reserved words, and aliases, as well as builtins. 6) compctl has new option -Q 7) [[ str = pat ]] can now also be written [[ str == pat ]] 8) new man page `zshall' which contains all the other man pages. 9) completely rewritten man page zshcompctl Also, although the binary is now slightly larger, I believe it will use slightly less memory (unverified claim). - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- FTP INFORMATION: Zsh is available from the following anonymous ftp sites.
