Probably the most important change is that <> can no loger be used as a sorthand for <->. <> is a redirection operator now. Temporarily in this release when <> is used a warning is printed about the changed behaviour. It would be possible to keep <> as a numeric glob pattern when <> is delimited with a space from the word before and after it but there were consensus on the zsh-workers list that this is not desireable. IFS word splitting, redirections and the test builtin should be fully POSIX compatible in this release. The texinfo documentation is updated but it does not contains the changes in the manual between beta20 and beta21. See the ChangeLog for the full list of the changes. The new release can be found on the following anonymous ftp sites. The first is the official archive site. The rest are mirror sites which are kept frequently up to date.
