-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

I'm very sorry for the previous bad announcement. Here is the real
announcement.

There are mainly bugfixes in this release with only one user-visible
change: the CSH_JUNKIE_PAREN option is removed. Most of the functionality
it provided still works however.

There are some very important bugfixes. The BUG: permanent allocation...
messages should finaly go away.

There were some compilation problems with old compilers which is fixed.

The location of global startup/shutdown files are now configurable with the
--enable-scripname=location option to configure. See configure --help.

Hopefully all serious signal handling bugs are fixed. No signals will
become misteriously blocked from now on and the strange coredumps when
calling trap functions should not happen anymore.

The texinfo documentation is still a few versions behind but that will
change soon.

See the ChangeLog for the full list of the changes.

The new release can be found on the following anonymous ftp sites. The
first is the official archive site. The rest are mirror sites which are
kept frequently up to date. The sites maked with a star may mirror
ftp.math.gatech.edu instead of the primary site.

zsh-3.0-pre2.diff.gz and you do not need to download the full source.
To do this just cd into the directory where the zsh-3.0-pre1 sources are
kept and issue

gzip -dc zsh-3.0-pre2 | patch -p
touch stamp.h.in configure

I'm planning to include it. However this is a more general problem. I
think interactive shells should not exit when exec called on a non-existent
executable. This would require delaying entersubsh() even more. I'd like
to think about it a little. But if anyone have a patch ready for that do
not hesitate to send it.
