Zsh version 3.1.4 has been released!
====================================

This is a beta release. People requiring maximum stability should
continue using version 3.0.5.

Information on finding the latest Zsh versions, the Zsh FAQ and
documentation can be found in the META-FAQ, included below. The 3.1.4
files should appear on all mirror sites within a couple of days.

bcf3e6423262b0d0418ebdd5c86b1bf7  zsh-3.1.4.tar.gz

The complete source is in zsh-3.1.4.tar.gz. zsh-3.1.4-doc.tar.gz contains
preformatted PostScript, DVI, HTML and Info documentation for those who
do not have the necessary tools to compile these from the sources.

zsh-3.1.3-3.1.4.diff.gz contains the patch against zsh-3.1.3. If you
already have zsh-3.1.3 go to the zsh-3.1.3 source directory and do

	gunzip < zsh-3.1.3-3.1.4.diff.gz | patch -p0
	touch configure stamp-h.in

Release 3.1.4 changes
=====================

A bug that prevented configuration of 3.1.3 on some systems has been
fixed.

The ksh93 $'' syntax has been implemented.

Zsh should now work on systems that lack any form of utmp file.

There are many bugfixes and other changes. For a more detailed list,
see the ChangeLog file.
