I don't think anyone has seriously looked at it since. We need some volunteers to become expert ... } The only example of _regex_words/_regex_arguments usage is ip(8) } completion, but it doesn't use such syntax. _regex_arguments was written for Completion/Debian/Command/_apt, so that's the canonical example. If _regex_arguments has any feature not used somewhere in _apt, I'd be surprised. It's also used in: Completion/X/Command/_xset Completion/X/Command/_xwit Completion/Unix/Command/_git Completion/Zsh/Command/_ztodo I wish you good hunting.
