I had looked at this and it doesn't seem to do what I want.  I wanted to
be able to say: don't try and correct the words "foobar" and "depend". It's
analagous to fignore for tab completion.

Ah, I see.  I'm fairly sure (from looking through the man pages
and source) that this isn't possible at the moment.  Sounds like
it might be quite a nice feature to have though!  Fancy writing
a patch for it? :-)
