Subject: Functions that start Jobs
Date: Thu, 28 Jun 2001 15:33:16 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20010628153316.B20290@yahoo.com> (raw)
I have a Function that starts a process in the background.
The Job created is "%2" instead of "%1".
Why is this?
How can I make it be the first Job?
Here's the function:
function makeb() {
nice make $* 2>&1 > Make.out &
}
