What I had done for win2k was set HOME to
%USERPROFILE% from "My Computer" -> "Properties", and
this worked fine. %USERPROFILE%="C:\Documents and
Settings\lwang". I got the dump when i tried to
resurrect this setting in XP. The problem seems to go
away when I use a $HOME with no spaces in it.
