Hi,

I have the following two lines in my .zshrc

    zstyle ':completion:*:(all-|)files' ignored-patterns '(|*/)CVS'
    zstyle ':completion:*:cd:*' ignored-patterns '(*/)#CVS'

One does files, one does dirs.

I got them from someone here ages ago, and they work fine for me.
