Just started on Knoppix which uses bash. Will I have to
download/make/install zsh ?

You could use grml (http://www.grml.org) as a live-cd instead, which
uses the zsh by default.

And is it possible to add your own config to the CD? Cause ZSH without
your own personifications is not ZSH :)
