Knowing whether it has terminated or not should be sufficient. Information is probably known from the job table: zira% sleep 2 | { sleep 1; jobs } [1] running sleep 2 zira% sleep 2 | { sleep 3; jobs } [1] done sleep 2 but there may be other jobs in the session, so that I need to get the right one.
