Or rather:

  print -rn $terminfo[sc]

Or:

  printf %s $terminfo[sc]

Or

  echoti sc

Or if tput is to cover the cases where zsh/terminfo is not
included:

  tput sc

Or:

(( LINES /= 2 ))
