Great work, only it is too good (I call your
function ths-mm) - compare:
$ ths 1.75
1-3/4
$ ths 1.73
1-3/4
$ ths-mm 1.75
1 3/4
$ ths-mm 1.73
1 73/100
If you devide into hundreds, you might as well
use the much better decimal system, right?
Tho one thing that is clearly better with
ths-mm is no recursion...
