Subject: Modifiers and parameter expansion?
Date: Thu, 1 Dec 2022 22:29:45 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <Y4kcyW/acG5cPz+o@localhost> (raw)
Why are modifiers applied here; is this a bug?
$ zsh --version
zsh 5.8 (x86_64-debian-linux-gnu)
$ emulate zsh
$ X=abc
$ echo $X:u
ABC
Isn't this supposed to happen only if the parameter and modifier
are put in braces?
Ciao
Dominik ^_^ ^_^
