With GLOBAL_EXPORT enabled (which is the default), ''typeset -x''
acts like ''typeset -gx''. Use ''local -x''.
% typeset -p TZ
typeset: no such variable: TZ
% () { local -x TZ=Europe/Paris; print -P '%D{%z}' }
+0100
% typeset -p TZ
typeset: no such variable: TZ
