I have the _feeling_ (no, I cannot prove it with any benchmarks) that
completion became slower. Specifically, partial path completion now takes more
time with the same pathes as before.

Approximately last week. I would suspect signal queueing patch. But may be I
am biased knowing that was supposed to incure some overhead.

As compared to when?
It doens't feel slower for me, but I can have a look... does anyone
else have the same impression?
