A lot of thanks ahead. As you're able to reproduce it ... from the manual: When loaded, the zsh/zprof causes shell functions to be profiled. The profiling results can be obtained with the zprof builtin command made available by this module. There is no way to turn profiling off other than unloading the module. Load that module, run the slow completion, and get us some output from the zprof command to look at. (Somebody else can fix the typo in "the zsh/zprof causes".)
