I think you're right; there's no obvious way of getting this through the Solaris sed in a single regexp. sed -n -e 's/^#line[ ].*\"\(.*\)\"/\2/p' \ -e 's/^#[ ].*\"\(.*\)\"/\2/p' | should work.
