makepro.sed workaround

It looks like makepro.sed is scheduled for demolition in 3.1, but it
would be nice to have a 3.0.x that works out of the box even on HP-UX
10.20.

The workaround is simply to remove the end-of-line anchor in the
substitution.  Since .* is greedy, this should be harmless with all
working versions of sed too.
