Subject: Re: Compile problems on HP-UX 11.00
Date: Fri, 23 Oct 1998 11:37:03 -0600 (MDT) [thread overview]
Message-ID: <19981023173705Z13513-27162+173@scapa.cs.ualberta.ca> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <3.0.6.32.19981023095925.007fa480@mail.connections.yk.ca> from Richard Whittaker at "Oct 23, 1998 9:59:25 am"
I ran into the same thing with what I think is an HP-UX 10.20 machine.
My solution was to comment out lines 88-98 in Src/watch.c .. not a
great fix, but it eliminated the problem. Althought this machine has
<utmpx.h>, struct utmpx (or for that matter, anything else!) doesn't
have any definition of ut_xtime. However, since HP's aren't my primary
machines, a simple hack made me happy enough.
Hope this helps.. and maybe this can be fixed at some point..
