Right. Should we:

1) add a (convenient) way to find out if a module will be autoloaded
   and change such places to test that for `parameter' and then force
   its loading, or
2) make parameter auto-autoloaded and just make it be loaded in
   `_main_complete' if it isn't loaded yet

???
