On every occasion. Though it seems to depend on some the CPU. On
a Duron 1300 machine it takes several minutes. On a Dual Athlon XP
2400+ it takes a couple of seconds. On an Athlon XP 3000+ machine it
completes within a second.

Does this bug still occur?

I discovered a problem in _mailbox_cache when there's a ~/mail
directory with large subdirectories, and it was fixed 3 years

I don't recall seeing this bug in about that long, so it does seem
fixed. Thanks for staying on top of this!
