Hi everyone,
I haven't spent much time yet looking at the issue, but zsh for Ubuntu
Trusty (14.04 LTS) does not ship the man.
Instead, the zsh-common (5.0.2-3ubuntu6) package only ships a symlink
named zsh5.1.gz to a non-existent zsh.1.gz file.
http://packages.ubuntu.com/trusty/all/zsh-common/filelist
zsh-common for Debian sid (5.0.6-1) and Debian jessie (5.0.6-1) /do/
ship the man.
https://packages.debian.org/sid/all/zsh-common/filelist

Which is a package for their upcoming 14.10 ("Utopic") release.
But the bug is still present in their current 14.04 release ("Trusty
LTS").

Distribution has to backport the changes back to 14.04, however it's
not zsh upstream's issue.
