Big hitter, the Lama. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: <zsh-workers-help@zsh.org> Date: Wed, Mar 4, 2015 at 7:28 AM Subject: ezmlm warning To: in4mer@gmail.com Hi! This is the ezmlm program. I'm managing the zsh-workers@zsh.org mailing list. I'm working for my owner, who can be reached at zsh-workers-owner@zsh.org. Messages to you from the zsh-workers mailing list seem to have been bouncing. I've attached a copy of the first bounce message I received. If this message bounces too, I will send you a probe. If the probe bounces, I will remove your address from the zsh-workers mailing list, without further notice. I've kept a list of which messages from the zsh-workers mailing list have bounced from your address. Copies of these messages may be in the archive. To retrieve a set of messages 123-145 (a maximum of 100 per request), send an empty message to: <zsh-workers-get.123_145@zsh.org> To receive a subject and author list for the last 100 or so messages, send an empty message to: <zsh-workers-index@zsh.org> Here are the message numbers: 34555 --- Enclosed is a copy of the bounce message I received. This is the qmail-send program at primenet.com.au. I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out. <in4mer@gmail.com>: <in4mer@gmail.com> 173.194.72.27 failed after I sent the message. Yahoo was having a problem with spammers forging yahoo.com addresses on email, so they published a policy that says mail claiming to be from yahoo.com can only be sent by their own servers. Gmail honors that policy. This breaks all mailing list exploders except yahoo groups. None of the three parties (yahoo, gmail, zsh.org) is individually doing anything wrong, but when you put them all together it doesn't work. ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 4+ messages in thread
