Subject: Official Zsh git repo clone on github?
Date: Mon, 27 Feb 2012 19:00:43 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <CAD77+gT14m=TT0QGZWK4K2X6Th15v_D+j5ZdeogakF6Ojm93ZQ@mail.gmail.com> (raw)
Hi all,
I just cloned Zsh from both sf.net and github.com while playing around
a little bit. sf was considerably slower than github, which was both
surprising and annoying. I am not sure if that validates creating a
second official git mirror and/or moving the git mirror to github, but
maybe it does.
Also, I am well aware of the semi-open nature of github, but then sf
is guilty of this, as well.
As an aside, I dimly remember talk about moving from cvs to git with
the release of Zsh 5.0. Am I halicunating or is this plan set?
Thanks,
Richard
