Could call it BUT_DO_CLOBBER_EMPTY, to allow «setopt noclobber butdoclobberempty».

Ha! Except that
setopt noclobber nobutdoclobberempty
still sounds wrong. :-)
I was thinking EMPTY_CLOBBER, if anything. But like I said, idle musing.
