I was thinking that ignoring zle_highlight will be considered a bug,
and this would be some blocker, to do a new release openly with known
unfixed bug. But it turned out that zle_highlight isn't that much
trusted and the code deliberately opts for termcap instead of using
it. I think the compromise "use termcap for default zle_highlight, but
for customized zle_highlight use it, not the termcap" addresses this
with a balanced, old-man-wise compromise.
