This is rather useless without more detail about what is failing and 
specifically how.

I'm not familiar with Babun, so can't really help you with that.  As far 
as I know 5.0.6 works just fine with the regular Cygwin distro.  Have you 
been able to repro this using the regular Cygwin?

Have you tried version 5.0.8?
