This is probably the same thing Bart complained about --- when the
option list in zsh.h changed with the BASH_AUTO_LIST patch, main.o
didn't get recompiled.  Remove main.o by hand and make again.  Any
help anyone can offer with the makefiles would be appreciated.

Hi,

3.1.5.-pws-6 ran fine with patches upto 5205.

Incorporating recent patches upto 5269 by default list all commands.
When starting a new xterm, these are listed on the new xterm window AND
on the system console --- too funny.

Any idea where this slipped in?
