http://www.twistedmatrix.com

I have only a minimal knowledge of it so far, but ...

it does this:

- SSH
    - FTP
    - HTTP
    - XML-RPC (using xmlrpclib)
    - SOAP (using SOAPpy)
    - NNTP
    - SOCKSv4 (server only)
    - SIP
    - Jabber
    - SMTP
    - IRC
    - telnet
    - POP3
    - AOL's instant messaging TOC
    - OSCAR, used by AOL-IM as well as ICQ (client only)
    - DNS
    - MouseMan
    - finger
    - Echo, discard, chargen and friends
    - Twisted Perspective Broker

It might give us ssh 2, who knows.

or it might just be useless.

ron
p.s. shame the world didn't just "go limbo", but there you are.

they are insteresting guys. i've spent a few days with itamar.

pity it's in python.

he had some nice ideas for future stuff that i was working on.

trouble with python is this mentality of:

do everything, but do it badly

twisted seems to be better than most.
