what purpose did it serve? all i can remember is that i had:
ls | mc
programmed into a teleray t1062 function key(s):
F1 ls -ltr
F2 ls | mc
F3 exec -sh
F4 ps -dfhy | sort - more
lc(1) seems a lot easier.
