Hi,

I was wondering if the non-working of hold-B1-click-B2-click-B3 (copy
text to snarf buffer) inside a tag was intentional?  I can cut text
and I can paste it, but only in two distinct actions.  Since I usually
do this to grab a bit of path, I get the window I take the text from
into a dirty state, which is mildly annoying.

The other thing I noticed after a recent pull (roughly two weeks ago),
is that acme becomes completely unresponsive after roughly 30 minutes
of running Wiki or Mail in it.  Does anyone else get this?  When it
happens again I'll have an attempt at debugging.

Our acme runs all the time with Mail in place.
No problem seen so far.

hi!

i instaled plan9 many times on computers,
but now for the first time i see strange mouse behaviour:
i can see menus after clicking randomly, i can point to window randomly,
but i can't see mouse arrow.
it's serial mouse on port 0.

if you move the mouse during rio's start-up it can get out of sync
reading /dev/mouse and start thinking that mouse clicks are moves one
pixel to the right for example.  if this is the problem you're seeing
just don't touch the mouse for the entire second that rio is starting
and it should be fine.

i've taken a peek on fixing this but not a long enough one to be able
to comment on it :)

if the mouse works but you can't see it then it's a problem with the
video card -- Plan 9 uses hardware cursor only (except in vmware)

i probably should've said 'video card driver'.  i'm sure whatever is
ailing the hardware has its #ifdef'd fix in all drivers for more
mainstream operating systems :)
