Hi
I am not seeing CPU temperature when I use the stats command.
Is there a way to see the Pi's CPU temperature?

In an old post, it says to do this...bind -a ´#P' /dev

I did and I can see the temperature now.

What does the # and the P mean?

It means it's a kernel device. You can list all the kernel devices by doing:

% cat /etc/drivers
