Subject: [9fans] A strange S3 Vision 968 card
Date: Wed, 5 May 1999 09:18:55 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <19990505131855.4NttNzQsJHMdcpD5cEtHdQ_hrN4_rVCZOUdG6_jac18@z> (raw)
For a very long time, every card Diamond made was a 'Stealth something-or-other'
and it was very confusing. Here's the entry I have for the Stealth 64 Video VRAM:
ctlr
0xC0045="Stealth 64 Video VRAM Vers. 1.01"
0xC0045="Stealth 64 Video VRAM Vers. 1.06"
0xC0045="Stealth 64 Video VRAM Vers. 2.02"
link=vga
ramdac=tvp3026-175
ctlr=vision968 link=ibm8514 linear=1 vclkphs=1
link=s3clock clock=tvp3026clock
hwgc=tvp3026hwgc
Note I've only ever seen a card with a DAC rated up to 175MHz. With 200MHz
you should be able to get 1600x1200 and even 1800x1350 if the monitor allows.
