if you are running ppp directly, you don't need to run ipconfig.

How do I properly set up the ip/ipconfig in /rc/bin/termrc?
In my case I am dialing into my isp using the string:
ip/ppp -s $host:$pass -uf -p '#t/eia1' -b115200
My /rc/bin/termrc already includes:
DNSSERVER=195.121.1.34
ndb/dns -r
My /lib/ndb/local includes:
database=
file=/lib/ndb/local
file=/lib/ndb/common
ipnet=localhost-local ip=10.0.0.1 ipmask=255.255.255.0
dns=195.121.1.34
This is what the manual IPCONFIG(8) says,
ip/ipconfig [-ndDrG] [-b baud] [-m mtu] [-g gateway] [-h hostname]
[-x netmtpt] type device [verb] [local-addr] [mask] [remote-addr]
