anyone had any luck getting a plan 9 system to boot a sparc?
i've got my kernel in hand, say at /sparc/kernel, and my ndb
files point to it for the systems in question. i've got dhcpd,
tftpd, and rarpd running, and PCs bootp and grap kernels fine.
my sparc, though, never gets a kernel. when a request comes
in, i get the following lines in /sys/log/ipboot:

	rcv se 080020880af9 si ffff:ffff:800:2088:af9:ffff:ffff:: te 080020880af9 ti ffff:ffff::
	send se 00a0c9e4f760 si ::800:2088:af9:a00:f:0 te 080020880af9 ti a00:f::
	error write failed: read or write too small

and then rarpd dies. the ether address matches both what's in
ndb, and what the sparc itself prints. i've got two sparcs,
both showing the same thing (obvious differences in log lines
for ether addrs excluded). both had worked off Sun systems in
the past, but i don't have one to test it off now.

anyone know what's going on?
-α.
