the manual pages actually show the namespace(6) syntax
not the shell syntax, contrary to the explanation in intro(2).
i'd be inclined to change the latter to correspond to the existing
pages, but that's just my opinion.

i noticed that in audio(3) it reads as follows

-->        bind -a #A /dev 
-->        /dev/audio 
-->        /dev/volume 

if i type...

term% bind -a #A /dev

i get a usage error. 
if i type...

term% bind -a '#A' /dev 

then all is well. just an FYI.
