It's a port that you send a command to and get aviation
weather stuff back.

wx == aviation weather
path == a path from VOR to VOR on the great circle route twixt 2 points
ft, fd, and sa are forcasts, sequence reports, and special sequnce reports
  from reporting stations.  Of course they're called TAF's and METAR's
  now.

It shouldn't have escaped into the release.
