seems out of date and the file size is thirteen (nearly fourteen, not
three!) megs.

Nah, I have never downloaded the "contrib" image, although I think I
have all the bits that go into it in some fashion or other.  I just
didn't want the next person going looking to get disappointed.

not being able to download perl could be considered a _feature_.

anyway, what do you want?  maybe i can get it from sdgm.net or
put it somewhere from sdgm.net:

Actually, I meant this was fixed.  haven't done anything about
the description for perl.

I can confirm both :-)

The installed version of perl seems to be 5.8.0 (as the heading
suggests).  I get

	error: copying /n/fossil/sys/src/cmd/perl/t/lib/db-recno.t: '/n/dist/sys/src/cmd/perl/t/lib/db-recno.t' does not exist

	error: copying /n/fossil/sys/src/cmd/perl/t/lib/opcode.t: '/n/dist/sys/src/cmd/perl/t/lib/opcode.t' does not exist

from replica/pull, but the remainder seems perfectly OK (no, I'm not
going to test it unless someone makes it really easy to do).

I am busy downloading the contribs.
